The service life of an infrared heater is usually around 5 to 10 years, but its actual life span is affected by many factors:
Maintenance
Regular maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of infrared heaters, such as wiping dust off the surface of the lamp tube and checking whether the wires are damaged every once in a while, can effectively increase its service life. Proper maintenance can keep the heater in good heat dissipation and electrical performance, reduce the probability of failure, and extend its life by 1-2 years.
Lack of maintenance: If maintenance is not performed for a long time, excessive dust accumulation inside the heater will affect the heat dissipation effect, causing the component temperature to be too high and accelerating aging; if problems such as aging and damage of wires are not discovered and handled in time, they may also cause safety hazards, thereby greatly shortening the service life of the heater.
