Typical service life of different types of infrared heating tubes
Quartz infrared heating lamps
Generally speaking, the service life of ordinary quartz infrared heating tubes can reach 3000-5000 hours under normal use conditions (temperature does not exceed the rated temperature, the environment is relatively dry, and the working cycle is reasonable). For example, in some food drying equipment, the service life of quartz infrared heating tubes with moderate working temperature (400-600℃) and low ambient humidity may be close to 5000 hours.
Ceramic infrared heating lamps
Compared with quartz tubes, ceramic infrared heating tubes have better high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. In some high temperature and harsh environments, such as metal smelting, ceramic sintering and other industrial fields, their service life can reach 5000-10000 hours. This is because the ceramic material itself has high chemical stability, can withstand high temperature and chemical erosion, and better protect the internal heating components.
Carbon fiber infrared heating lamps
Carbon fiber infrared heating tubes are a new type of heating tubes, which have the advantages of fast heating speed and energy saving. Under normal working conditions, its service life can reach about 8000-10000 hours. For example, in some high-end heating equipment or industrial heating equipment, the service life of carbon fiber infrared heating tubes is good, mainly due to the high strength and good thermal stability of carbon fiber materials.
