Fast response far infrared quartz heating tube 740mm 2000w ir lamp for stretch blow moulding machines
How to choose a short-wave halogen heating lamps suitable for a specific application scenario?
1. Heating requirements
Heating temperature
Clearly define the heating temperature range required for the application scenario. Different short-wave halogen heating tubes can reach different maximum temperatures, generally between 500℃ – 3000℃. For example, in plastic processing, the softening temperature of some plastics is around 200℃ – 300℃, and choosing a heating tube with a maximum temperature of more than 300℃ can meet the needs; while in high-temperature application scenarios such as metal heat treatment, it is necessary to choose a heating tube that can reach a higher temperature.
Heating speed
If the application scenario has high requirements for the heating speed, such as a fast heating production line or equipment that needs to be started and stopped frequently, a short-wave halogen heating tube with a fast heating speed should be selected. Generally speaking, heating tubes with higher power and better filament quality have a faster heating speed. You can refer to the product’s technical parameters or consult the manufacturer to understand the heating time index of the heating tube.
