The twin-tube heating lamps heats the glass locally by rapidly heating it up. When the temperature of the glass changes dramatically, thermal stress is generated. If the thermal stress exceeds the strength limit of the glass, the glass will break along a specific line.

– Place the double-tube heating tube on the glass surface and align it with the line to be cut.
– Slowly turn on the power of the heating tube and gradually increase the temperature. Pay attention to controlling the heating speed to avoid the glass from breaking due to overheating.
– Observe the changes on the surface of the glass. When the glass begins to change color or fine cracks appear, it means that the heating has reached a certain level.
– After the glass is heated to the appropriate temperature, quickly cool the heated part with cold water or cold air. This will further increase the thermal stress of the glass, causing the glass to break along the heating line.
– You can use pliers or other tools to gently tap the edge of the glass to help the glass break along the cutting line.
